Cow Peas for the early Bow plots and Oats and wheat plots for gun season.

Wheat and soy beans. People on the land next to me plant 80 acres of cow peas every year so its hard to compete but the beans work pretty well.

i need to start plowing but im worried it's too dry. I hate to wait on a rain, cuz who knows when that'll be. Any experienced imput on this?
How dry is too dry? In SW Oklahoma a lot of people dust their wheat in and hope for rain. It's always either too dry or too wet in this country. You have to do things at doing time.
The Bible says somewhere that he who watches the sky too closely will neither sow nor reap. Some old fart told me that.
