So for those that have handled it, would you say the Glock 42 is overbuilt? I see the general agreement is that it fits the same niche as many other 9mm sized pocket/carry guns by other manufacturers. I would bet that at next years shot show you will see a 9mm version. Like the 17 becoming the 22, 19 to the 23, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if Glock introduced the G43 and G44 (9 & 40) very, very soon.

It's unusual for Glock to release so much info out about a new gun (G42) before they officially unveil it. That makes me suspect the 43 and 44 are nearly ready to be released.
