I took my oldest two boys to see the new Godzilla movie last night, (17, and 11). It was a surprisingly great movie. It’s set in the last days of WW2 and follows a Japanese soldier who is trying to rebuild his life after his family and city have been destroyed by the war. There’s a love story element, a legitimately unnerving monster, great acting and writing, and some excellent action scenes. If you like WW2 movies, or monster movies, or both? Go check it out.
