Ladies and gents I'll be staying in Tulsa tomorrow night. I need some hotel suggestions that are a fairly nice hotel located close to some nightlife and restaurants...

Mayo downtown. Pricey, but pretty cool. Downtown has decent restaurants, but mostly casual. The hotel is is very 1930's swank.

Full disclosure; I've never stayed there, just paid too much for drinks at the rooftop bar.

I have stayed at the Renaissance about 71st and 169. Very nice rooms, close to a lot of restaurants, but I'm not sure about nightlife. I'm a few years beyond that.

I'm a hotel connoisseur! Night life, not so much. I stay at the Doubletree by the hospital when I'm in Tulsa. I have stayed at the Hard Rock and it is okay too if you want the casino close by. I stayed there when I had a FTF with Dubs Chops! LOL. Yes I plan my hotels by where I plan to meet OSA folks to buy guns, don't judge me....

I second the Aloft. Plus its right down the street from the Blue Dome District. We stayed there last year.

Hard Rock sucks if you're a non smoker. The entire hotel reeks, despite the no smoking policy in the rooms. Doubletree was very nice. Stayed there about 6 years ago.
