My dad had a Ruger 9mm stolen from his pickup along with his GPS. Harrah PD recovered the pistol and he got it back. I visited him the other day and he had the pistol in his truck between the seat and console. He also had his GPS on the dash. At least he hasn’t dropped it in a parking lot yet.

Didn't work that way with Dallas PD and my S&W.

Keltec DA. For those that say bad things about keltec I've had nothing but good results and usually carry a PF-9. (because it will blow a lung out).
