Sounds like some of these representatives haven't even read the CC bill from years ago. There are some really stupid questions being asked.

"Official position" is the operative word the rep. used. That doesn't mean that they don't have a position. I can't blame them either.
My rep's secretary/Public Liason just called me. Voting now. She expects it to pass overwhelmingly. Considering my rep is about as hard core a demonrat as you can get and she claims he supports the bill I imagine it will pass.
