Hi-Point warranty center finds carbine barrel stuffed with 35 bullets

I was just thinking this , if the barrels didn’t blow out after 35 rounds it’s a well made barrel.

I almost don’t believe it, all squib loads I’ve ever seen blow the barrel all to hell, unless someone had some really bad handloads

A lot of 9mm carbine barrels are pretty stout and 9mm doesn't have the enormous pressure a rifle round does so it's not as likely to bulge the barrel.

So I'm assuming the gas was blowing back into the fellas face and he thought "lets go ahead and put 33 more down range" ?

It's a blowback and all coming out the ejection port on the right side. With your face on the left you probably won't notice the difference.

You can buy unjacketed 9mm bullets and I bet the guy was loading his own.

I cast, load, and shoot lead in 9mm firearms. 5 different handguns.

I use the same 125gr projectile that I use in lighter 38spl loads.
