Not that I am in any way a fan of holder, but..........
Who did he call a racist?
Where does he say anyone against him is a racist?

You're correct, Atty Gen Holder called no one in particular a racist - he merely implied that a reason for his policies being opposed so strongly is racism - you can infer what you wish. He also implied, but didn't state, that voter ID laws are racist moves to keep people not in power (whom he identifies as most likely Democrat voters of color) from voting. Again, you infer what you wish, after all he didn't actually call anyone a racist.

“There's a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that's directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder told ABC. “You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There's a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there's a racial animus."

I'd have to agree with this.

It's implied. With Holder, it's always implied. Had his speach said something to the effect of:

"There's a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that's directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder told ABC. “You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There's a certain component to this for some people who aren't happy with the direction of our government. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there's a lot of frustration."

Then he wouldn't be leaning on the race crutch. By injecting race where the overwhelminhg majority are upset over the ideology, he is putting it out there that if you disagree with he and President Obama, you just might be a racist.

Everything Holder does is viewed through his own filter of racism. Now we could argue whether Holder's privileged upbringing gives him a true justification for holding racist views, but for a sitting AG to keep throwing down the race card all the time is unacceptable. He does more damage to the cause than he does help. He's the boy who cried wolf. It's intellectually dishonest and not at all helpful. :(
