The House passed a bill requiring more background checks today and while it is probably DOA in the Senate, next year the Senate may change hands if history holds. It may not but it does a lot of times unless Trump gets a big turnout and lots of support in 2020.
If the Senate does change hands expect the Dimocrats to reintroduce today's bill. No need to panic buy but slowly stocking up on ammo, reloading supplies, etc could not hurt.
