Ron Paul would have been defeated worse than Romney.
That's how he looks.
A third party would have run to combat Paul's extreme views, and taken a large number of votes.

Paul has many legitimate ideas...he's just unelectable.

It's crazy how wanting to follow the Constitution is considered extreme. There will be a day when those who desire to uphold the Constitution are declared domestic terrorists.

^^100% correct! Ron Paul wasnt part of the plan so they tried to cover him up and give him no attention. When he was noticed, they labelled him as "nut job" "extremest" "un-electable" "racist" and other words that would scare people away. Those in power (not just Obama) rule with an iron fist in the shadows of what used to be a free Republic.

Fox News and the rest of the corporate media told us that Ron Paul was crazy and as always, we believed that only the guy that lost to the guy that lost to Obama in 2008 could save the country, even though Romney was exactly the same globalist puppet as Obama. Nobody really believed Romney could have won. Ron Paul was the only candidate that was a strict Constitutionalist who wanted to restore the Constitution and the rule of law.

We've lost most of our inalienable rights and the Second Amendment is the only one that still remains to some extent. We are now just waiting for the hammer to fall on the 2A.

Now that the selection is over and the "conservative" Romney was blown away by the socialist dictator, has anyone had second-thoughts about Ron Paul and the liberty movement he started?

If the republicans ALLOW any further infringement of 2A to pass, I am contributing only to NRA, GOA and 2AF, and all my votes at the Federal level will be strictly libertarian from now on.
If the republicans want to destroy their party, after the recent betrayal of their core values on "no higher tax rates", then all they have to do is commit a blunder on the socially conservative side as well, and allow SOME anti 2A legislation to pass. That's it, they will be done after that. They'll never win anything else again and we all can switch to Libertarian, knowing we are NOT throwing away a vote or giving the election to some leftie.

Does it really matter? Every conservative, republican is dumber than a sack of rocks, And every liberal democrat, is wiser than the almighty himself. And the worst part is they, the "free press", which is the Ministry of misinformation, and propaganda arm of the democrat party, brain washes seemingly intelligent people into agreeing with them.

You guys just don't get it. This country will not elect an "Old White Guy" anymore.
He can have the greatest Ideas in the world and it doesn't matter.
The minorities, the media and the under 30 crowd have banded together to make sure this is the way of the future.

How many under 30 crowd do you know? I know of 10 non voters for Romney that would have voted RP just in my personal circle of family/friends. So much for judging based on content rather than appearance.
