how long does 100 rounds last you?

I did Burkett's timing drills a month or so ago and ended up shooting around 800 rounds in 3 hours (not all on the timing drills of course).

Shooting 1k per month isn't really that hard to do if you go out 2-3 times and add in a match or two.

Every shot still "counts" and has a purpose. To get better you have to push yourself outside your comfort zone with speed/range/multiple targets etc.

I don't shoot or dryfire nearly enough.

I do most of my target shooting with my Tokarev TT-33, at less than 10 bucks per hundered rounds 7.62x25 is about the least expensive ammo available. so , I just shoot till I get bored.

My practice sessions usually last 2-4 hours and I run 200-350 per session. Average is around 250.

100 rounds of 9mm in my m11/9 take about 35 seconds, not including mag changes.....about a minute and a half when messing around and talking.

maybe 30 minutes at H&H with my husband and I taking turns of 19 rounds each. 5 minutes jacking around in the country with my family! *gets pricey*

With a single shot 38-55, quite a while. With a .22 auto pistol, about 30 minutes.

I'm glad I have the Dillon. Usually we burn about 200 every trip. That's the 45 colts and 45 acp's.....not even counting 22's. WHen we go shoot prairie dogs, it takes a week or 2 to get back a supply of 223's and 17 MK4's.

I take 30 preloaded mags for each gun I take to the range. G17, G22, and two G23's. don't always take all but sure go through too many rounds.

Glad to see I'm not the only magazine whore on the boards!!

I never want to get caught without enough magazines.

Of course the corallary to that is I never want to be caught without enough loaded magazines.

Buying magazines is like buying ammo:
Buy 'em cheap (as you find 'em) and stack 'em deep.

go to happy hollow and it will last longer cause you have to take 3 sec in between each shot ha ha
