Have 2-3 fighting over the feeder right now, they know when it's time to split..

I've got them out of a highbay before by opening the door and putting a big red feeder or something red right in the doorway. When they get hungry, they fly to it and sometimes vacate the premises.

Ours left a week or so ago.
We have 2 coming to the feeder now. Probably travelers that decided to stick around with the 90 degree temps. Bet they are gone next week.

We keep a feeder out till about the first week of October for the late birds.
In the summer we put out 8 feeders and fill most 2-3 times per day and average 135 lbs of sugar per summer,
but we get about a hundred of them.
Early in the morning and late in the evening I can sit on the front porch and hear a dull hum.
If they are fighting just place another feeder so it cannot be seen from the first feeder,
the bully will move to it and let the others feed somewhat peacefully, but like kids there will
be little spats between them.
