Find a hedge apple or bodark or osage orange tree has several names but the heart wood is beautiful yellow colors. Used it for knife scales before!

This is bark from a Willow tree from the Sequoia's in California. I was there this last weekend and someone was cutting a Willow tree and I asked them if they could cut me a short log.
