Just bought 500 rds 9mm for $0.15/rd...9mm is all about getting more bang for your buck. I also enjoy the higher capacity and the reduced recoil vs 40 or 45. Not trying to start a 9 vs 40 vs 45, Just saying the pros of 9mm make it a more enjoyable caliber for me. I sold off all my 1911's and now have 5 CZ 75Bs and don't regret it a bit.

Much the same for me. Sold my 1911s in favor of P7s and BHPs. The CZ-75 is a fine pistol, too.

I've owned one 9mm in my life. A SW Model 39 that I never shot and traded off in 1983. Just have always been a fan of .45, 10mm and 40 S&W and revolver calibers like .44 Magnum .38 and .357. I guess the whole problem with smaller calibers in the Philippines in the early 1900's made an impression on me. I carry my Colt Delta Elite 10mm with me everywhere I can legally go.

I don't understand not owning a 9mm, there's just too many quality ones out there. Throw a rock. On the flipside, I don't understand owning just one pistol caliber either.

Not enough money to buy/own more than one gun? But that's the nice thing about the SIG P250 and P320. You can have multiple calibers in one platform.

It's not a money factor at all, I just haven't found a 9mm that I wanted that I couldn't buy in 40. I know there are very mixed reviews, but I would really like to pick up a DB9.

Let's see...I have a circa 1882 Smith & Wesson Model 1½ in .32 S&W,...a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 in .45 ACP,...a 1977 Smith & Wesson Model 10 in .38 Special,...a 1982 Smith & Wesson Model 13-3 in .357 Magnum,...a 1982 Smith & Wesson Model 37 in .38 Special,...a 1982 Smith & Wesson Model 681 in .357 Magnum,...a Smith & Wesson Model 686-6 in .357 Magnum, and a brand new Smith & Wesson Model 642-2 in .38 Special +P. There's an 1895 Nagant in 7.62X38R in the safe along with some .45 Colt single actions, but no 9mms. In fact, the only semiauto I own is a Ruger Mini-14.

To be fair, if I do ever pick up a bottom feeder, it will probably be a 9mm even though I'd love to have an M1911A1 in .45 again.
