I messed up; Lower build

Use a credit card to hold it down while inserting the takedown pin. I MAY have an extra if you can't find one, but won't be available until Thursday or Friday.

Just an idea, but, I use a dull razor blade to install them. That's my preference.

never thught about that either. I usually use a very small flathead screwdriver.

i use my sausage fingers and the right amount of cuss words! really though, the credit card idea is a good one

Box utility knife for me, same as the razor and easier to hold.

I used a "clevis pin" as a tool for the pivot pin detent & spring.. 1/4 inch

After my first build, I was tempted to do it inside a large cardboard box! My last build, I used a box knife and it worked very well. A friend to help is also nice.

I think I will be doing a clevis pin. Im not lucky enough for it to be stuck in the lower, that bad boy sprung out like a wild child and pinged two walls.
