This makes its rounds on Reddit every year or two, and so it did recently. If you haven't seen it, it's pretty good poster child against improvised suppressors. Lol.
Barrel obstruction much?
Wouldn't have happened if that was a Hipoint.
You have to cut a hole in the tater, you can't just shove it on and core out a chunk for a barrel obstruction. Said tater still blows apart but gun stays intact.
I don't know what the deal is, but every now and then, including this post, all I see is some kind of black "double arch" at the bottom of the post. I don't see any video or other kind of link. Maybe it is because I don't do Reddit?
Make that gun into a table lamp now it has perfect stand.

But I once tried a pillow 'suppressor' ...by wrapping a pillow around a nice S&W .357....Think I got the idea from a Hollywood 'Mafia' movie...or some(thing).
It was decades ago- but as I recall, the pillow caught on fire & I had to shoot it again to put it out of its misery.
...Not really.
But whatever it was made of got lit up like Xmas tree on the 4th of July.
With no noticeable decrease in decibels as far as I could ascertain.
