What's for Christmas dinner ?

No Idea yet maybe a coon or armadillo depends on what I bring back from the woods or what I run over on the way home.

All my kids and grandchildren are coming so Mother is going all in with a traditional Christmas dinner. Turkey and ham with all the trimmings.

The kids and grands will be over Christmas morning for scratch made waffles with sausage patties and juice. It is just the 2 of us for dinner. Prime Rib, new potatoes and green beans, hot rolls, and pie.

Christmas is a time for Cioppino.

Hopefully we.can pull it off this far inland.

Had Christmas with the extended family yesterday. The theme this year was chili. Did a couple versions of chili and the SO made a huge pot of pinto beans and smoked ham and a bunch of cornbread in cast iron skillets.

Saltgrass is gonna be for Christmas day.

Not sure yet. My gf might make enchiladas.

Gonna be some pulled pork sliders, smoked turkey, baked beans, potato salad ! Just be immediate family and only 9 of us left these days.

My in-laws have started a tradition of doing a Mexican style feast. My FIL smokes a pork butt and does carnitas and then we all bring the rest of the fixings. Pretty tasty and hard to beat
