At the store as of today 01/08/23:

One head of iceberg lettuce: $3.98/head
Small navel oranges: 89 cents apiece (yes, you read that right -- 89 cents for EACH orange)
Black Label Bacon,12 oz. pkg: $8.99

Believe it or not, I don't recall the price of eggs off the top of my head. Probably because I have the girls and though they are a bit off their game (typical for this time of year) I still have more eggs than I know what to do with most days.

I'll start paying more attention. If there is anything in particular you are curious about just ask and I will look. Chin up, guys -- I have a sinking feeling about all this and I am expecting prices to continue to rise for the foreseeable future.
