I'm not sure about this forum specifically, but some forums' backend will automatically log you out after a set number of days and make you log back in regardless of the 'remember me' box. Just log back in.
If you'd like to double check that nobody messed with your account, before you log back in find your username somewhere on the forum (old post or something) and click on it. Go view your profile, and in the little white box to the left it will tell you your last activity. This ought to let you know if your account was being fooled with overnight or something.

cookies have a max-age value & an expire value, usually set for around 60 days. prolly just reached the timer.
