Is 90 days still the norm to get your CC?

48 days from the time I went to the SO till the OSBI printed my approval letter...but took them another 11 days to mail it! SO had my permit for 2 weeks when I picked it up!

Yes. I didn't wait for the letter. I sent OSBI an email asking the status and they told me it was done. SO had it the next day.

Well, some of that is good news. I dropped of my app, got printed and paid with a M.O. all on the 4th of November. I'd love to think I might get my permit before Christmas!

Of course... I won't hold my breath!

Mine took like 105 days give or take a couple.

Mysteriously my license never made it to the Sheriff's Office after I got the letter so I had to call OSBI. Spoke with a nice lady who said she would get it printed ASAP and I got a call within 3 days saying I could pick it up.

They take cards now? Cool. When I got mine it was check / MO only. Of course that was over 4 years ago. Dang... time flies.

Another semi related question, and probably a dumb one, do I cal the Tulsa county SO where I was printed or should I call the sand springs police dept? I got the impression I would be picking it up in sand springs rather than in Tulsa...
