on March 16. It's a one day only potluck kinda affair. Just a little heads up for those of you who would like to practice foraging with someone who knows their stuff. :D (Yes, GC and I will be there ... :naughty: )

A friend found her on FB and send me a link, but I deleted it ... sorry ... So, go on FB and see if you can find her. If you can't and you wanna go, holler at me and I'll send her an e-mail and ask for a link for you guys.

Here a couple of articles about her:

http://www.stwnewspress.com/local/x1612548125/Coyle-woman-stays-true-to-nature

She is listed as a national instructor here:

I tried to link to her website (okwildcrafting.com) but my computer is saying it's not able to connect right now. I do know that there was some talk last year that she wouldn't do any more walks and dinners because of her health. Also, the people I've visited with who've been on her walks have had nothing but good things to say. This March walk is really a February walk that she had to cancel because of the stomach flu. If you guys wanna learn from someone who has been doing this for a long, long time, she is the lady to see ... And now is the time ...

A guy I work with does a scronger thing like this. They start out in the sticks with nothing to survive on and trek cross country to another location while living off anything they can find. Usually a couple day ordeal.
