Huh. You'd think they'd try to get China's attention, then, wouldn't you?

Why??? They have had a hard on for the US since the "Shores of Tripoli" days when we first had to kick some butt there. Now we are the symbol of western culture and still the most powerful on the planet. We ARE the target that will bring them the most "honor" among there kind.

I have. It was on the Fox25 morning show today, complete with crappy video of the resultant explosions, and NPR ran a story or two on it.

China isn't the same kind of target we are. They're more subtle in the way they do things, and they aren't exporting Chinese culture the way Hollyweird exports anything they can get on film.

Plus, China might actually take care of business if they tried to start something.

There's an old Arab proverb that explains it: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. As long as we're doing something that's in their interests, they'll be with us. Once that stops, so will their cooperation.
