Last time I was there we just spent most of the time 9n or in the water or hanging at the cabin. Very nice park and lake. Good fishing below the dam.

Grew up there, yes fishing is good but better this time of year. The trick is to fish as close to the bottom without getting hung up on the rocks an you don't need the big poles either.

Not sure what you are looking for but there is Keystone Ancient Forest for hiking just a few miles away from the park. There are 1-5 mile hiking trails there - might call first, they are not always open.
Downtown Tulsa less than 30 minutes away - plenty of places to eat.
The Gathering Place park - less than 30 minutes away too. Cool to walk through if you have not been there before.

Fishing in the lake itself can be hit or miss. Water comes up quickly with dirty water this time of year w/ spring runoff.
Good park though. Have a good time!

Great suggestion on the Gathering place. Wife and I have been there a couple of times for a walk through. Amazing how they developed it.
It's a work in progress too. More to come.
Sand Springs has a new city park on the river below Keystone dam. It has some hiking trails as well. Can't remember the name of it.
There is ATV trails at the dam, and fishing.
