Local help with installation of Free Float Troy Tube on AR

I need assistance with a Troy TRX Free Float tube that I picked up yesterday.

1. I don't have the Troy wrench for the Troy barrel nut.
2. I don't have the action black to hold the upper.

Other than that, I should be good to go.

Anybody know who I can turn to if I want it done this weekend?

where did you get that rail? troy has discontinued the trx i believe.

It looks like you are right! I had heard that they were just updating the mounting system, but it sounds like they are upgrading the mounting system on the Alpha model and doing away with the TRX. I really like the TRX for the most part, but the mounting system is not my favorite.

i heard they replaced the trx with an alpha model that has little crappy screws that hold the rail on.

That's what I read too. Samson has a GREAT light weight tube that mounts in a similar fashion as does MI, so it can't be that bad of a system. Mine have been fine, but I'm not that hard on them.....

You run yours on a 3-gun rig, correct? If so, I'm sure your a good gauge about how good the system is.
