My Polaris 2008 700xp is starting to have issues so I'm looking to upgrade. Primary use will be on my hunting land. It's a little hilly, mainly soft sand and red clay. Mud is not an issue. I rarely go over 25 mph so I have zero interest in a fast UTV. Main use will be hauling around wood, corn, chainsaws, a spray rig and sometimes family. I tend to take it into timber and run over small saplings. It will get worked but probably not abused like a hard core trail rider. I don't need climate control or doors. I'm looking for a reliable workhorse, a little bit less noise than the current rig would be a bonus. Since I'm frequently in timber I don't want a dedicated 6 seater due to length. The Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT is looking pretty good. So OSA, what are your thoughts?

Used Yamaha Rhino 70, as they stopped mfg them and went to Wolverines. Bullet proof work horse for a place. We use several of them.

Or a Kawasaki Teryx.

I don't know a lot about them but was shopping the mule last week and was told the Pro models are $1000 off right now due to a recall. Just have to wait for the fix to take possession.

Found a deal on a used Mule Pro FXT. It's a blast, but anything is a bit of an improvement over my creaky 2008 Polaris 700 xp!
Those are really nice machines! I had a Mule over 20 years ago, and a friend recently bought a Pro FXT. Kawasaki has really upped their game since I had mine.

I have an 06 Ranger here in TX and a 09 at my OK place, and with what current prices are (even on used ones), I can’t see myself ever buying another UTV after mine crap out.
A friend of my brother just spent over $50k on a tricked out Ranger. :ooh2:

It's crazy what they sell those high end ones for. The one I found only had 90 hours on it and the price was 2/3's to 1/2 of a new one. I just can't pay new prices.
