I posted in another thread that I was at my place over the weekend getting cameras and feeders up and running, and with all water and vegetation, I figured the deer should be faring well. The first buck pictures are really promising especially with about 60 days of antler growing time to go. In the first 12 hours, I've already got three bucks coming in, and I'm really starting to get excited. Here's the biggest so far.

As a little background on the stand location where this buck is showing up, this is the same stand that I killed my 2014 and 2015 bucks. Those two bucks didn't appear to venture too far from this feeder, these bucks have already visited the feeder twice this morning (6am and 9am). I sure hope this trend continues.

Did you kill these two before the rut? Just curious

If you don't, your chances go way down up here it seems. Even if they do survive the season, they'll sometimes vanish until the next August or so. You may shoot your "neighbors" deer during the rut, but my good bucks on cam will be gone usually by November.
