I'd like to try one out.

I know I'll get burned on this but I've never liked the AK platform. Yeah, Yeah, its a great close quarters gun, but I don't do that anymore.
I'm into the accuracy of an AR.
I was ringing 12" steel at 300 yds in a cross wind all afternoon today with an AR.

Its a personal preference.

When you say accuracy of an AR and reliability of an AK, I immediately thought of the Sig. The 5.56 round is one of the main reasons the platform is so accurate.

The 556R shoots the 7.62 x 39 and uses AK mags. The 556 uses the 5.56.
