Monster rattlesnake

Neighbor sent me this pic,was caught around Oktaha from what I was told.Over eight feet long and like 60 pounds.

thats one of those internet pics, i have a paper copy several years old. who knows where it came from or when.

irregardless, it is still a huge snake!

Good point. It's a big damn snake, wherever/ whenever it was. Must have had a good source of easy food to get that big.

Think you'd need a snake proof waders and athletic cup for that one.

Thats not an 8' snake. hold an 8" bass close enough to the wide angle camera lense, and it looks to be 8 lbs.

That being said, Thats a really big rattler, and would not want that badboy to hang some fangs in me
