I am all for law enforcement carrying whatever they need to be more safe and get home safely. I have no issue with any LEO and have nothing but respect for what they do. Keep up the good work folks!

Yeah, I was basing it on current laws and restrictions. Didn't want to get into hypothetical changes in laws enacted in 1934, 1968, or 1986, either.

a buddy of mine who works for one of the local departments swapped the barrel on his rifle for a ten or twelve inch. no paperwork, no problem. carries it on duty.
