I caught "The Sons of Katie Elder" on Grit TV, can't believe I never watched it before. Good movie.
(Sorry to be a downer but one observation, neither John Wayne nor Jerry Lewis could make Dean Martin a great actor.)

You didn't like his bar trick about the glass eye?

Now that was all right. But he didn't sound convincing to me as he delivered his lines, didn't seem like a tough enough guy to be believable in the role.

Just watched 'V for Vendetta' for the first time last night. Apparently it was a somewhat popular movie back mid 2000's, but I never heard of it until recently. Some of the plot lines from that movie are eerily similar to what's going on today. All that aside, it was a rather entertaining movie.

I watched The Spy Who Dumped Me for the first time over the weekend. Not bad. A few funny scenes. The shootout in the cafe and the car chase that followed was awesome and probably the highlight of the movie. But still worth watching.

My wife and I decided to give The Art of Racing in the Rain a try the other day. Much better than I expected and a very cool ending.

I watched it last night. The fight scenes were cool, but it couldn't keep me from looking at my phone in between moments of action. Not a bad flick.

The Netflix series "Queen of the South" is an interesting 4 season series....... Female Cartel Leader from Mexico-- moves business into the US. Some very interesting weapons on display in this one.
