That'd be the guy. I haven't seen the movie, but the book by Laura Hillenbrand is outstanding.
The book and movie are excellent. I think I read that she had ran across an old newspaper article that was the basis for the story of “Unbroken” when she researching / writing “Seabiscuit”; another movie I really enjoyed.

I might suggest "Ready or Not." Pretty much a horror comedy that makes fun of the inter-generational wealthy, and not from a socialist stance. Samara Weaving may be the next scream queen as well! My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I will usually watch about a movie a day. I have a large collection and check out Amazon prime quite often so I will just throw out my latest with or without comment. You can go to imdb.com and get an idea what any movie that you are unfamiliar with is all about.
THX 1138 a classic 1971 sci-fi flick.

THX 1138 may be a classic, but it was still a strange movie.

Anyway, speaking of strange movies, there is The Conjuring series with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal investigators.. This is a series of films showing various cases they have worked on, all of them involving demonic activity.

Purportedly true.

If you've never seen A bridge too far..you gotta see it. It's good. If you enjoy war movies.
I know they're not movies...but HBOs chernobyl and John Adam's are really good. I'm sure you've seen the civil war by Ken burns. Letters from iwo jima

Old Dark House........ started watching old 1930- 1940's movies
The Maltese Falcon
The Grapes of Wrath

"Old Dark House" is one of my favorites.

"Vampyr" (1931)
"Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" (1927 I think)

I started watching some of the old German silents a while back. Amazing the technical skills almost 100 years ago. "Metropolis" is a great one, too.
