Be Here to Love Me is probably the best documentary on a single person I've ever seen. Townes was a fascinating dude and the production is great. For any other old country fans, the all time standard is Heartworn Highways. It follows the Nashville and Texas outlaw country scenes through the winter of '75-76. Anybody who is anybody in that music genre in this documentary, including a ~20 year old Steve Earle. A lot of Townes, a lot of Guy Clark's kitchen table jams, and David Allen Coe playing at the Tennessee State Prison.

just watched the stanford prison experiment.. very good..

If you found that interesting, read up on the Milgram Experiments and Asch Conformity Experiments. There is some footage in different documentaries of the Milgram Experiment (also a few Milgram clips scattered about online), but not sure if there are any devoted entirely to it. Those 3 studies fascinate the hell out of me.

Collapse was really good about the depletion of oil and how there really is NO alternative. Not corn, water, wind, nor nuclear. Everything comes from petroleum.
