I can tell you SST 125gr at blackout velocities work fantastic so im sure out of that gun they will also work great on game.

I hope so, since they are so accurate out of this gun. Ill try them out on some coyotes and hogs between now and then and see what kind of damage they do.

Thanks guys. I just gusstimated the group sizes by looking at the video when I made it. I got the target and measured with a ruler from the back side yesterday and the Hornady group was actually 1/2" or maybe even a hair under.

Usually 300 yards. I have a desk set up at 50, 100, and 300. I could shoot from a different angle and get out to 500, but I don't do it to often. That requires driving out into the wheat field.

lol yea I guess so. I've seen posts over the years of people looking for ranges or places where they can shoot, so I realize I'm pretty lucky to have this spot right across the road from my house.

It was pretty calm out Sunday morning, just a slight breeze off and on, so I tried the Ruger out at 300 yards. Im really pleased with this gun so far. Ive taken it out several times looking for hogs and coyotes and its much easier to carry than the long guns I was taking before.
