Here are some basic tools that i use in working on my AR15s, having the proper tool's for instaling and removing of roll pins i feel is very important.

I use most of the same tools or similar copies anyway. I also have barrel vise jaws, mag well vise block, gas key screw staking tool, a gas tube alignment tool, an upper receiver vise block...maybe a few others. Don't use all of them all the time, but if you need something it's always there.

One of the handiest and useful things I use is a magnetic parts tray. Keeps little parts from getting knocked around lost.
