As mentioned in the OP, the subcaliber adapter only shoots 7.62x39mm(the same round as a AK-47 or SKS). Not asking for help to chronograph an actual rocket

It doesn't launch the faux RPG, it fires a 7.62 round through it....

...yeah...I had to watch the video to be somewhat disappointed that dummy round doesn't fly through the air, but equally impressed of the 7.62 round firing out of it. Very cool piece to have for sure.

Other military rocket launchers such as the AT-4 (9mm tracer) and the SMAW (some strange 7.62 cartridge). Bullets are cheaper than rockets and do not require the same space or present the same danger when training.

The AT-4's we trained on in the army were 9mm so it seems totally logical to have, I don't understand why it needs to be NFA ??? have you ever considered purchasing a lil inexpensive airsoft crono?? I had an airsoft phase in my life and had a few.. I DO NOT KNOW how high those crono's go up to though. Pretty sweet post thanks for the pic's as well
