I get my bullet seating depth with a stoneypoint OAL gauge, plus for a bolt gun don't roll crimp either. My opinion is it will eventually lead to split case necks sooner and then they go to the recycling bucket. I shoot a bolt gun like you. After you shoot those just neck size them, your brass will live longer. The only time I full length size a case is if I bought once fired brass or someone gave them to me that were fired thru a different gun. When I reload a new bullet / new powder, I might load say 25 rounds, 5 rounds at 5 different powder charges and shoot those and see if one of those is better than the others. Let us know how the ammo works out.
