Well if I decide to, concealability will be difficult at best since I got the L version (long slide). But it's a sweet gun. Bit gritty in the take up though. Any of you ever tinkered with the trigger?

I'm not a Glock lover, but thats a good question. It was the first/original Glock, and around here it seems like to own one or shoot one is some kind of taboo. When I did shoot/play with Glocks its what I had a G17.

I believe I would have gone with a full-sized as well.

The M&P9L was a very good choice.

Just curious, why is everyone recommending G19's instead of the G17?

I have both. The G19 feels much better in my hand (better balance) than the G17. It is also a little easier to conceal. I notice no difference in accuracy.

Not knocking the G17. I won't get rid of it, but I wish I had bought a G34 instead.
