My recommendation...use an NFA trust, for starters. PM me and I can guide you through it.
Eventually, I would like to get a suppressor and a SBR.
If you decide to start down the Class III road, you must be forewarned that this is a VERY addictive substance to handle. It is almost impossible to kick the habit, even with intervention and re-hab.
You will find yourself wanting more and more.

If you get a suppressor, you will begin fondling all sorts of reloading gear (and sometimes in public even!!!) and then you will find yourself searching the internet and all forms of written material looking for "the best" recipe for your "load".
If you go full auto, you will suddenly find that you do not have enough ammunition. You will become consumed with getting your next loaded magazine. You will become obsessed with getting more and more magazines, ammunition, sub-cal kits and spare parts kits.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

No yearly fee? A kid at work say's he pay's $700 a year on his Hk 93 . I have always thought it was $ 200 for the stamp one time till you sold traded or destroyed the gun.
The kid at work does not know what he is taking about. The $200 tax is a TRANSFER fee and is only paid when it transfers from one owner to another. There is no fee to destroy the gun, but why on earth would anyone want to destroy a transferable MG is beyond me (unless it was by accident). An 01/03 FFL/SOT (more commonly called a "class 3 dealer") only pays $500 per year for his SOT to deal in NFA weapons. There is no yearly fee to own an NFA item.
this.
But maybe it's a super secret special rifle that only certain people can own and only if they pay $700 a year.
that person is full of something.
I already do the reloading thing and fondle reloading equipment in public. I can only imagine what the NFA bug will do to me
