What does that matter?Do criminals get denied often?
People who are denied generally don't fit the definition of "legal gun owners".This is designed to harrass legal gun owners.
To confirm, your take on this is that delays are NOT included, correct?People who are denied generally don't fit the definition of "legal gun owners".
Most that are delayed are the definition of legal gun owners.People who are denied generally don't fit the definition of "legal gun owners".
Correct. Denials are reported to the local authorities. Delays are not.To confirm, your take on this is that delays are NOT included, correct?
This thread is about the NICS denial act. People who are denied are reported to local authorities. People who are only delayed are not. People who are prohibited to own guns (those who are "denied") are by definition not "legal gun owners".Most that are delayed are the definition of legal gun owners.
Uhh, did you read the 3rd paragraph? This thread is about the NICS denial act. People who are denied are reported to local authorities. People who are only delayed are not. People who are prohibited to own guns (those who are "denied") are by definition not "legal gun owners".
FFL's do supply addresses to NICS examiners when asked. Only those who are denied are reported to local authorities. Read it again yourself.Uhh, did you read the 3rd paragraph?
So on re-reading this it appears that an address will be entered on all e-checks before a status is released? And only on delays if using the call center? So the address is sent to NICS on delays, but not to the local LEO? Have they provided any guidance on why they are collecting address info on delays?Correct. Denials are reported to the local authorities. Delays are not.
