(I hunt in Texas where it is legal to do this)
I am setting up a ar-10 with a silencer and NV scope to hunt hogs with at night. I have two questions.
If I set up Infrared lights around a feeder and set up a blind about 300 yrds away with a gen. 2 NV scope will I be able to clearly see the hogs?
Also is 300 yrds far enough using subsonic ammo and a silencer, to not scare the hogs off when I shoot?
Any advice is helpful. I have been hunting hogs for a long time but this is the first time I would start using NV and silencers.
