Exactly. As I've stated before, China is the answer to the situation, but because of economic ties between china and the US, it's impossible to use them as a lever.China bears responsibility for supplying NK. Unless they stop the flow of oil and all other supplies into NK it would be reasonable and preferable to retaliate against them by stopping all trade between our two countries..... A major pain for us but greater for them....and far better than military action.

If we slap sanctions on China, they will shut down production for dammed near every product we use on a daily basis. Walmart would go under, Amazon would go under, and so on.
China owns the US because they produce so many of our goods that we live with.
This is key to Trump trying to get manufacturing back to the US in his agenda, and the fawking congress is fighting him all the way to stop him. What a bunch of do-nothing swamp members.
I believe that it would be far more detrimental to us than to China if we banned imports from them based on the fact that the vast majority of consumer merchandise now imported into our country comes from China. Even much of the small arms ammunition that our military uses is manufactured in China, plus, would you want to face millions of pissed-off Wal-Mart customers that can no longer get what they want because we stopped the imports?China bears responsibility for supplying NK. China owns a LOT of our loans and if they recall the notes we are going to be in deep doo-doo. From an economic standpoint they have us over a barrel, we cold go bankrupt if they cashed in the notes. With that in mind, they surely wouldn't want to go to war with us owing them so much money. Would they?
Then, it could be said that WE have them over a barrel because they don't want to lose the money by warring with us.
