I have no proof, its a gut thing I guess. I just believe that our populations or at least the ones that care, so outweigh and are passionate in the idea of the constitution especially our one that lets us have these things, that we just wont let it happen.

I am certain a person more educated in history could tell several tales of how i am wrong, and how "yah, that is what they though too back in year ****". ... .

I just think we have had it so long, and that the people who care about it, are so set in the concept and reasoning for it, that we wont let them take it away.


so. for the "take away yer gunz" to ever happen, way i see it the only possibility of that idea coming to fruition would be to slowly and painstakingly chip away at it over a lifetime and expand it to include everyone. but even then i want to believe the concept is so strong that any steps in that direction will be corrected by the time it happens.

Obama doesn't have to take away our guns,if he wins another term and keeps the Senate,he'll stack the Supreme Court with anti gun/anti freedom justices and many of our rights will disappear over time.

Our "friends" at the NRA were instrumental in setting us up for that.

You really think after Americans bought more firearms than ANY OTHER TIME IN OUR HISTORY for fear of Obama's agenda that people are planning to just sit on their butts and turn them back in like Australia? I got news for you, if somebody comes to my house to take my guns or anything else, I don't care who they are or where they're from or who they're with, I don't care what the law says, I don't care if it's a demo or a repub who made the law, I don't care if I'm outnumbered, outgunned and have about 5 seconds of my life left to live. I will fight because I would rather be DEAD than to live in a crime-ridden, totalitarian state where the government tries to live my life for me. If it helps you sleep any better, J.B., you can just write that off as me living in my little fantasy land. Just don't act so shocked when more and more people leave that buffet line because they would rather die free men.
