I love pranks, but this pretty stupid all around, the guy that set it up, the people that agreed to do it, the world we're living in for this to be thought of.
All that said, one of my favorite movie theater memories is when someone lit a string of black cats and threw them into the opening night premiere of independance day at the exact time the white house blows up. It was hilarious, but sure couldn't do that these days.

They did this at a school too not too long ago on an in service day. I agree, the stupidity is astounding.
