In addition, anyone can easily tell - it's NOT 4 umbrellas, there's only 2. One has a chrome barrel the other barrel is all black. They both are damn scary with little pokey things sticking out. They should be banned.

I just think it's a terrible practice. The pres (whichever one) will have dozens of aides standing around. To make a soldier hold his umbrella is disrespectful.

I do not think that is heartless, it has been that way through out history. Which is why I think we need to keep our military in the best equipment we can. We ALWAYS get caught without the right or enough equipment.
