I'll be over to collect what you owe me for protecting your rights to flap our gums about an important piece of paper you don't beleive in. At the same time I'll be handing you deportation paperwork and one way ticket to any communist country that will accept you. I'm looking forward to meeting you and posting your statements in places the Veterans visit regularly. I sure Jane Fonda will love to meet you.

Yes I have! But I still believe in Constitution!

You are aware that the Creator gives us rights? The 2A gives us nothing but a reaffirmation that the right exists because we are human? And why put your faith in a piece of paper instead of the principles behind the words? Do you think that the desire to be free is exclusive only to Americans? To be free from being enslaved by other men, religion or government elsewhere in the world? To believe something is great. However, is the belief grounded in fact? On rhetoric? On emotion?

If the words on paper aren't backed by the desire to follow the principles then the paper is worthless.

Dutch, have YOU seen the rest of Rhino's signature? Not only does he have a desire to follow the principles of the paper, he swore an oath to uphold him and was willing to sacrifice his life for them.

Dutch, what exactly is your worldview? You seem to contradict yourself quite a bit. Please pigeonhole yourself into a religious and political camp so i will know which ones to mock. Thank you.

I view religion and politics as opiates of the masses. :)

An emotional appeal? How many of those wars were NOT for money and power? How many were actually for defense? For offense? Hey, if a piece of paper makes you feel happy, go for it. However, I prefer to defend the principles that are supposed to be the reason for the piece of paper. Defend the principles instead of waving a flag and relying on emotion.

If you feel so right about your statements in this thread. I sure the former Cat Stevens has a place for your to stay. Did I read right, that you are denouncing the Constitution and the rights it bestows upon you.
