I've sold many guns that were registered to me. Im not worry about it.
Where did you go to register your guns? From out of state?

It's always safe to have a bill of sale signed by both parties for a firearm transaction. We tell our customers if you don't know who you're selling the gun to, we'll do a background check (transfer) for them for a small fee.
maybe, until proven innocent?
Since the title of the thread is: Oklahoma Gun sales Question/scary story , CA & NY laws are irrelevant.
well thanks for being a good sport. as for the suggestion, i feel it could go either way. i forget what the negative is to getting a receipt, but my opinioni is like evveryone else is suggesting it is just a piece of property. and when they show up tell em to pound sand....
The situation this thread was started on, safe has alot to do with it. If the guy had a bill of sale showing who it was sold to there would have been alot less trouble on his end. The bill of sale could have been written on a napkin.
