Does anyone have info of how some other states operate? Even Kansas for example right next to us.
There is an old saying but I don't know where it came from: "If you want to live like the wealthy people do, go to their side of town and do what they do." Same thing if another state is doing well, go there and investigate and maybe if their playbook is applied we'll do better.

I don't find reference to the presumed "double, triple, or quadruple dipping" of the superintendent despite wearing multiple hats.
It's in the article I linked. The chart also references both base salary and total compensation, although they don't actually define what they're including in "total compensation."

As far as reducing admin overhead in a Tulsa, go for it.

ETA: From the article:
"The asterisks:

* Superintendent has more than one salaried position in the district, usually as a teacher, principal, counselor and/or librarian. Total pay includes the additional position’s salary plus benefits."
