I had an original Red Ryder but my crappy cousin snagged it and eventually destroyed it.
So today I ended up with this out of my dad's vault that more than makes up for the Red Ryder.
1936 Daisy Golden Eagle. Same power as my old Red Ryder but in the too cool configuration.

My Uncle Don won this shooting in a "Postal Match" in 1937 about a year before he joined the army. He died in a Normandy field hospital in Dec 1944 from infected wounds from a mortar barrage right after Thanksgiving in Southern Belgium.
