Yes, the extended mag makes for a better grip.

I have pocket carried LCP, LCP II, LCP Max, Glock 42, Glock 43, Ec9, and S&W 442
I like the weight and size of the LCP II, Glock 42, and 43 the best. In that order.

when not carrying my 9mm Hellcat or Kimber 45 OWB , this little Kimber .380 is in my front trouser pocket. With Honybadger ammo it can be pretty effective.

If it was DA/SA, I would jump on that like liberals do gun control. Being only SA means you have to carry it cocked and locked, not my preferred method. At that point I would just pick a good striker model. I'm either gonna go with a Micro9 (when I can afford it) or a Bersa. Sadly, the micro pistol genre belongs to the striker fired crowd with slim pickings for da/sa style.
