Here's one of my 17D builds...my current duty rifle. 11.5" 5.56 upper, Strela flash hider pinned & welded to bring barrel length to 16.25". Burris 1-6x LPVO. It runs like a champ. 17D lower was awesome to assemble, fit & finish were good, & the threaded bolt release pin is a great feature. Needs a coat of paint to cover up the weld, but otherwise complete.
Finally put together my folder. 8 in midwest industries upper in 300 blackout. Vortex spitfire 3x prism sight. Strike industries enhanced lower parts kit, rave 140 trigger, sba3 brace

Having trouble finding a heavy buffer for IFLR. Brownells shows back ordered.
How heavy? Do those folders take a specific style?
Specific style.
Weight--Don't know for sure as I only have parts on order to build it. 10.5" 5.56 and will be suppressed. Everything I read and experience points to needing a heavier buffer or adjustable gas block.
